Nach einer Darstellung der Notwendigkeit und Struktur eines mehrdimensionalen Dokumentationssystemes für kinder- und jugendpsychiatrische Patienten werden Prävalenzraten für Symptome dargestellt, die bei 928 Patienten erhoben wurden. Diese beziehen sich auf körperliche Behinderungen und Auffälligkeiten, Störungen des Sprechens und der Sprache, auffällige Gewohnheiten, Auffälligkeiten in den Bereichen des sexuellen und sozialen Verhaltens, Störungen im Spiel- und Leistungsverhalten sowie Auffälligkeiten im emotionalen Bereich.
