[Correspondence] The expansion of soil-transmitted helminth control strategies

We read with interest the study by Naomi Clarke and colleagues (Jan 21, p 287)1 on the differential effect of mass and targeted deworming programmes for soil-transmitted helminth (STH) control in children. On the basis of the meta-analysis, the authors suggest reassessing the expansion of STH control strategies to be community-wide in endemic areas.
