[Comment] An agenda to fight inequality

The USA is one of the richest countries in the world, but that reality means very little for most people because so much of that wealth is controlled by a tiny sliver of Americans. During the past 35 years, there has been a massive transfer of wealth away from the middle class and the poor to the top 0·1% of the US population.1 Despite advancements in technology and productivity, millions of Americans are working longer hours for lower wages. Since 1999, real median household income in the USA declined by nearly US$1400.
